Modular balance bike
Wabi is a modular balancing bike that can be configured according to the skills and needs of toddlers and young children. The objective of the project was to design a simple but innovative solution for the mobility market on younger generations.
Product designed for Clementoni, a traditional Italian toys company. This project is currently being prepared to enter the mass production phase in China and Europe. Stay tuned for more details.

WABI is a modular balance bike that can be easily transformed without compromising aesthetic, playful, safety, or production factors. WABI conveys conventional form factors of a balance bike and offers distinctive and unique transformability, usability, and aesthetic features to enhance the user experience.
WABI combines custom-made parts with commercial-available products to offer a bold, safe, and distinctive design. To optimize resources, the frame and the handlebar are made of standard metallic pipes, 200mm wheels and a saddle, parts commonly used in products of this kind. The rear fork and the head joint are the only two pieces that are completely custom made, thus are the main reason of the distinctive design of the product.
